The rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable; it even had a TV in the bed footboard but as we were out at family Christmas we didn’t watch TV The breakfast was very good and freshly prepared to order, with friendly and efficient service.

We stayed here 1 night ,after a long drive from Devon it was great to arrive to the very spacious and comfortable accommodation,booking in was easy and we were soon in the warm room . We booked to eat for 6.30 and chose 2 courses from the early menu the food was presented nicely served up fast and was delicious and the price was very agreeable ,the lady that served us was so professional and nice ,back in the room ,the bed was very comfortable ,and in the morning breakfast was excellent as well ,the owner is accommodating and a nice chap. We highly recommend this pub and accommodation and will no doubt be returning in the future.

Stayed here several times. Rooms lovely and comfortable. Stayed in large room above the barn style rooms this time. Room had everything expected in a hotel room. Bed really comfortable and large settee. Tv was hidden away at the end of the bed which was a luxury. Shower and bathroom clean and modern. Could have done with a shelf in the shower for toiletries and also near sink. Minor points though. Village really quiet at night so helped to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast excellent. Will be staying again.

Stayed here before and returned because we had enjoyed it. Lovely room and breakfast at an excellent price. They have some good January deals on at the moment. Had to request a room change as first one not suitable for my husband who has mobility problems. Dealt with very professionally. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb.

Fantastic find. It is a little hidden gem. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was for what we paid. Clean , spacious rooms. Lovely touches with the bottled water, choice of tea & coffee and the shampoo etc. The breakfast…. Superb. The hottest meal I have eaten out ever. Local produce and beautifully cooked.Staff polite and attentive. We would highly recommend and won’t hesitate to book again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Great breakfast in a lovely pub. The room was very nice with a powerful shower.

We were made very welcome on arrival by Mathew and shown to our room which was amazing. The whole room was extremely clean and the bathroom was fantastic, everything we needed was in the room and it was warm and very comfortable. We ate our evening meal in the adjoining restaurant, great choice of food served piping hot. After a restful nights sleep we enjoyed a superb breakfast in the restaurant, the quality of the food, all locally sourced, and its preparation was top class. I can honestly say it was one of the best cooked breakfasts that we have had. We will definitely be returning to the 3 Millstones.

Food both in the evening and at breakfast was exceptional. Good choice, well cooked and very good portion sizes (enough and not too big to make us feel stuffed). Clean, comfortable and tidy. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a family wedding at a nearby venue.

Good location, clean, extremely friendly staff and excellent quality food, I had read reviews which said portions were small but they were more than adequate, in fact I was so satiated I couldn’t finish dessert, maybe the previous reviewers were related to Mr Creosote and needed a few wafer thin mints!

The property was really quaint - the rooms had lots of character and the location was very peaceful. We had to leave early in the morning so wouldn't have made it for breakfast but the owner left a plate of pastries and yoghurt which was a really nice touch
